Tonight I fried up some fresh okra that I picked out of my garden! It wasn't quite as good as Mom makes, but it still brought back fond memories. Just about five weeks ago I was pretty worried about the okra. It seemed to be struggling. About that time I went on a rampage pulling weed after weed in the garden. In a matter of days the okra had new life, increasing in size by more than 75%!
Weeds just choke the life out of your garden's plants! It's not all that different when it comes to the garden of personal finances. We all have non-essential things that have managed to snatch a peice of our monthly cash flow. If we can identify these 'Wallet Weeds' we can reclaim that cash and use it to towards the things that mean the most to us. Learning to tell the weeds apart from the real plants is half the battle and probably the most difficult part in regards to money. But the more you do it the better at it you become. And rewards are wonderful! (Sometimes even tasty like fried okra!)
What are the weeds in your wallet?
