May 2009 Rates

Share rates are down right now.  If you have more than $2,000 in regular shares, now would be a good time to move it to a PCU Money Market or Share Certificate to get a higher return. 

Loan rates remain very, very low.  It's a great time to get a loan or to refinance a loan from somewhere else at the credit union!

Changes in Fees

The First Ever CU X-Games

On May 14, 2009 during the PCU Annual Meeting, kids will compete in a variety of events which we are calling the First Ever CUX-Games! Featured events are the Spoon Dash, Discuss Throw, Long Jump, and the Suitcase Relay!

The games will be followed by a magic show featuring The Amazing Wade Hopkins!

ATM Location Changes

Effective April 24, 2009 Piedmont CU will no longer have the ATM in Valero/Fas Mart across from the Airport. Fas Mart has chosen to furnish their own ATM which will charge Piedmont CU members. Credit Union members are encouraged to use the Piedmont CU ATM located inside the Food Lion just across Kentuck Rd. from the gas station. ... keep reading...

PCU Closed - Inclement Weather

Piedmont Credit Union will be closed on Monday, March 2, 2009 due to Danville's Winter Snow Storm.  Automatic transactions such as Direct Deposits and Online Billpay will continue to post.  Checks should clear normally.  NetBranch and Telephone Teller are also available today as they are everyday!  Enjoy the snow, and be careful ... keep reading...
