Christmas is just around the corner! In preparation Piedmont Credit Union will offer Christmas Loans for up to 2,000 dollars at only 9.50%. We'll be offering this loan until the end of February 2009.
It's also a great time to start a Christmas Club for 2009. Clubs payout on October 15, 2009. Members may contribute any amount they like to their Christmas Club.

Our home equity loan rates are lower than ever! Today our Variable Rate Home Equity Loan starts at 3.25%!!! For loans of 15,000 dollars or more we'll even throw in a 100 dollar Lowe's gift card and we'll pay the closing costs.
The credit union has two types of home equity loans, variable and fixed. The variable rate ranges from 3.25% to 4.00%. This rate is determined by the U.S. Prime Rate along with other factors such as credit history and the borrower's amount of other debts.
Our fixed rate home equity loan rates range from 6.90% to 8.90%. Both loans can carry up to a 15 year term.

It's that time of year again! Summer is winding down and if you have kids in school and haven't taken vacation yet it might just be too late.
Speaking of school, our credit union was founded by teachers in 1969. We would like to offer our sincere thanks to all the teachers and educational employees over the years who have supported Piedmont Credit Union.
