The Dr. Harold Henry Scholarship

A good education provides a solid foundation for any successful career. Piedmont Credit Union is pleased to offer the Dr. Harold Henry scholarship. All credit union members enrolled in post secondary education are welcome to apply. The student must be a credit union member. Graduate students are not eligible. Applicants must be full time students during the 2010-2011 school year. There are no age or class restrictions.

Last year two scholarships of $500 each were awarded. The number of scholarships to be awarded for this year is not yet determined.

The deadline for submitting scholarship applications is 5:00pm on March 31, 2010.

Dr. Harold Henry served as the Dean of Averett University's Adult Continuing Education program. He also served as a volunteer on the Piedmont Credit Union Board of Directors for more than 25 years. Today he has retired in Danville, VA. Thank you Dr. Henry for making a difference in the lives of countless students and in the direction of Piedmont Credit Union.
